For a year and half, the team of Arab Swiss House has been cooperating with the organization Soup&Chill for what is called Restaurant du Coeur (Restaurant of the Heart). At Restaurant du Coeur lunch cooked from donated groceries by the Schweizer Tafel (Swiss Table) is provided from Monday until Friday. Arab Speaking Refugees who make up part of the cooking team receive professional training which may not be available elsewhere. Guests are served a three-course menu for which they are free to pay as much as they want and are able to. Serving lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays and every other Friday.
Arab Swiss House reduced cooperation with Du Coeur in 30 June 2017 to alllow more focus on finally implementing it’s own Concept and importantly finding its own physical location. 2 of Arab Swiss House team still work at Du Coeur. This experience serves as an important basis for handling a daily business in the future in the Art Gallery Café.
